This week for writing we learnt about “Figurative Language” and the different ones there are. First we learnt the basic one like metaphor, hyperbole and simile before moving on to other one like Idiom, symbolism & personification.
Next we needed to create a DLO explaining the different figurative laguages. Lastly we needed to Blog. I did good at explaing each figurative laguages but I need to approve on adding more examples, I liked this task because I like learning about figurative laguages.
This week we had HPE which was about long Jump. First my class and I all had a discussion with the coach on how we should land and jump, we learnt how to land which was a motorcycle stance beneded legs, arms out in first and back straight. After that we also learnt how to properly jump which was to run and left of using one leg, we practiced those basics for a bit.
Next we moved on to speed how fast we should run, we practiced using a shorter long jump range before moving on to a more proper long jump base. Lastly everyone had one go to jump, everyone did good and tryed there best, after that our sport session has ended we said thank you and bye to our coach before leaving for lunch.
This week for Cybersmart we have been learning about “Ownership and Copyright”.
First we needed to watch a video about “Why is Copyright important?”
Next we needed to create a find at least 3 images from any of the public domain sites on the right, on the next slide, create a collage using those images.
This week our subject for cybersmart is to identify what is media. First we needed to discuss the different media there is and what is media. Next we needed to complete a slide about smart media and finish. Lastly I finished and blogged.
For PB4L we learnt how to solve problems. First stay calm. Second think of Solutions. Third Choose an idea. Fourth Act kindly. These are the four steps to solving a problem. And I enjoyed this task because now I know how to solve a problem. I did well on making my poster.
This week we practised answering questions about a text. We learned how to find important words in the question and look in the text for the answer. We also learned to cross out wrong answers and pick the best one. This helps us understand what we read better.
This week on Thursday Panmure Bridge School had a disco!! and it was really really fun, heres what I did at the school disco.
First I had to get ready after school because I was matching with my class mate Amorangi, after that I got ready I waited for a bit because the disco will start at 4:30 then after a bit I went the the school and I came at 4:03 and I met up with my class mate Amorangi and my other classmates that came dripped out.
Next the disco finally started but we had to sign our way in, after that we got greeted with some drinks, glow sticks, and chips, I went back to my classmates and then we started dancing to the music everyone felt the rhythm, then the DJ told us to have a dance battle in the middle, he asked what our team names were gonna be, our one was Team Sigma and it was given by my classmate Malosi.
Lastly everyone was walking down the lane that everyone made, then we started a congo line for the last song, the DJ got down and starting dancing last minute but went back up that was pretty funny, the congo line kept on going but then it was time to go, we all went to our teachers and then went home I walked and then my classmates got picked up.
I felt tired and happy and excited and the same time it was a fun time and yeah.
This week for cybersmart we had to do a Blackout poetry. First i had to get in a pair and i chose my class mate Vaingalo and we had to do a blackout poem. We chose words from the poem we were given to make our own.
I did well at finding the words. I need to imrporve on my imagination. I enjoyed working in a pair.
This week for Cybersmart me and LS1 did are dream google meet.
First we had to do a worksheet form and it was about Google meet, then we had to make a copy of a slide and add people that we want to talk to in the Google meet and I chose Tanielu Tele’a, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and lasty Josh Papalii and first i would talk to Tanielu Tele’a first and talk about his Manu Samoa 20s team, Then next i would talk to Roger Tuivasa-Sheck about his Blues career, Then next i would talk to Josh Papalii and talk about his career for Toa Samoa and Raiders, and then after that we had to make a are own Google meet and add some backgrounds and I added the people that I wanted to talk to.

Last weekend I went to, two birthdays on the same weekend.
First before the first birthday it was Friday so I went and get a haircut, ok now its Saterday and I went to my little toddlers birthday and she was turning two years old and the birthday was going to be a the Pakuraga Chipmunks and her full name is Valentine Faitala Sauni and I had so much fun at her birthday party and I got a party bag and it was big, then we move on to the next the we are at my babys cusions first birthday and his name is Fa’galu and it was at the Manukau Chipmunks and the place was so big when I got there bigger than the Pakuraga one and I got like three party because there was not that much kids and I won a Sidney Roosters Rugby ball and I was the only kid that won something from the arcade games and we had a whole feast of many foods and desserts. And that was my weekend.
