In reading this week we have been learning how to make inferences, and how to make connections.
Inference is our big focus as a class so it is something we do short quizzes on every week.
When we make connections in reading, we can make connections between text and self and text and world. My group read the story Kopuwai and the Clever Girl and practiced making connections. I worked with Blake for this task :
First we read the story as a group.
Next, we made some connections of the story.
Last we blogged.
It was a bit hard for me to do but I managed to finish it off, similar to how the girl in the story didn’t give up.
