PE

For PE this week are PE teacher was Miss Erasmus and we learned about this sport named Shot Put.

Shot put is an event in which the participant stands inside a circle and attempts to “put” a weighted ball as far as they possibly can. The “put” is different than a “throw” due to the motion of the arm.

And Miss Erasmus said “Who ever throws the ball the furthest maybe gets pick to go to the inter school athletics” and when i heared that i was jumping up and down.

After that we started and then after the people did there terns it was mine i got up and i got the heavy ball and i trew it and i made it to the inter school athletics and my firend Ahea made it aswell and me and my firend Ahea were so happy.

And was so much fun.

Niuean Language Week

Fakaalofa lahi atu! This week is Niuean Language Week.

Our task was to create a two different posters to do with the Niuean language and culture and practice introducing ourselves.  The first was a poster with phrases and greetings in Niuean language.  The second was a fact file with different information about Niue. On the last slide I have introduced myself in Niuean.  I have learnt that E means Yes.  I have also learnt that Nakai means No.

Hot Wheels – Off Roading

This week for reading we have been focusing on revision.  Revision means looking at something previously read or studied to memorise it or change it or improve it.  We are revising our comprehension skills because we have testing soon.  I chose to read the story Hot-Wheels Off Roading by Ed Wisinski and Dave White.  I read it for 15 minutes then I completed this SSR Selfie.  I would recommend this book to other because if you own your own Hot Wheels toys, you will read about them in the book.
