This week I made a pepeha. A “pepeha” is a self portrait mixed with things about you.
First I made a copy of the template. The template included things like our culture, a symbol that is important to us, and our moutain, and awa.
Next I started adding stuff to the template. My important symbol was the cross, maunga (Mountain) being Mt Wellington, culture being of Samoan & Tongan, and awa (river) being Tamaki River.
